This Privacy Policy explains how Yopi (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Yopi mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
In short: we use your photos, videos and face data only to create the results you ask for. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use your face data to identify you, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Content: photos, videos, reference images, text prompts and the results you create.
- Account information: if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account identifier and, if you share them, your name and email address.
- Support messages: anything you send when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information: device model, operating system, app version, language and region.
- Usage information: features you use, generation requests and their status, and crash and performance logs.
- Network information: IP address, used for security, fraud prevention and approximate region.
- Purchase information: subscription status and transaction identifiers provided by Apple. We never receive your card details.
Photos, videos and face data
Some features (for example looks, trends, face swap and motion control) need to process the face in photos or videos you upload. To do this, our AI providers may analyze facial features, shape and position in the image (“face data”).
- Consent: face data is only processed when you choose to upload content and start a creation. You can stop at any time by not using these features.
- Purpose: face data is used only to generate the result you requested. We do not use it to identify you, to recognize you across photos, for advertising or for any other purpose.
- No training: we do not use your photos, videos or face data to train or improve AI models.
- No sale: we never sell or rent face data.
How face data is shared
To create your result, your uploaded content is sent securely to the service providers that run the AI processing and store files for us. They may process face data only on our behalf, only to provide the Service, and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

Storage, retention and deletion
- Uploaded photos and videos (the originals you add to create something) are deleted from our processing servers within 30 days of the creation finishing.
- Face data derived during processing is not stored separately. It exists only while your request is being processed and is discarded afterwards.
- Your results stay in your Library until you delete them or delete your account.
- Account deletion: in the app go to Settings → Account → Delete account. We delete your account, content and results within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records (for example purchase records) by law.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and are not used to restore deleted content.
How we use other information
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service, and fix bugs and crashes.
- Manage your account, credits and subscription.
- Send notifications you have allowed, such as new trends and offers. You can turn these off in the app’s Settings or in iOS Settings.
- Respond to support requests.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share information:
- with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that protect your data;
- when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Service;
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD or US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
You can delete creations and your account directly in the app. For any other request, email support@. We will respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for using your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and you must not upload photos or videos of minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it. If you believe a child has used the Service, please contact us.
Content of other people
Only upload photos and videos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission. You are responsible for having the right to use any content you upload.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and other safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app.
